Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this Presidents Day weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list this weekend!

It's Presidents Day weekend. And whether you prefer to be inside or out in Miami and South Florida, we have some great activities to enjoy.

Begin the extended weekend with family-friendly Valentine's Day events in Aventura and Doral, then help out the avian ecosystem by participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count. Take to the skies at Haulover Park's annual February Kite Festival or head to the kitchen at the Science of Chocolate exhibit at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium.

Light up Fort Lauderdale at IGNITE Broward or enjoy some farm fun at The Berry Farm's annual Strawberry Festival. And don't forget the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, a guaranteeed hit for residents and visitors alike.
