How do I book a ride with Kidmoto?

The easiest way to book a ride is using the Kidmoto app, which is FREE to download from the App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, you can visit Kidmoto’s website to get a quote and book a car. In addition to indicating your pick up and drop off, you’ll have a chance to request car seats, share flight information, and more–to ensure a seamless trip.

When should I book my ride to the airport?

Booking in advance is the best way to ensure you’ll get the ride and car seats you need. In New York, New Jersey, and Orlando, Kidmoto’s platform will let you schedule a ride 12+ hours in advance. In all other cities, a 24-hour lead time is required.

Of course, if you find yourself in a bind, you can always reach out to Kidmoto support and they’ll do their best to match you with a driver.

What kind of car seats does Kidmoto offer?

Kidmoto only uses premium car seats that have been tested and certified by NCAP crash testing standards–so you can trust that they’re safe! Choose from rear-facing seats (5-15 lbs. and 15-40 lbs.), front-facing seats (40 lbs. and under or 40-65 lbs.), and both high-back and backless boosters (for kids up to 120 lbs.). Infant inserts are also available on request for the smallest passengers.

How many car seats can I order?

You can request up to 5, but it depends in part on the type of vehicle you book and the seats you need. Kidmotos’s SUVs can accommodate up to 4 car seats, their minivans up to 3 car seats, and their sedans are limited to 1 car seat. If you need rear-facing car seats, the maximum is 3 per ride.

In select cities, you can book a sprinter van, which can accommodate up to 12 passengers and can hold up to 5 securely installed child car seats. This service is available for New York City airports (including rides to and from as far as the Hamptons, Stamford, or Princeton), Orlando, Tampa, South Florida (Palm Beach Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale, and Miami), and Dallas.

What should I do if I know my child gets carsick?

Let your driver know at the start of the ride so they can provide as smooth a trip as possible!
