Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

Disney's Lion King Jr, the beloved movie, comes to life on stage in Bellmore this weekend with Simba, Rafiki, and the rest of the crew. Be sure to stay after for precious photo ops.

You can also get out this winter break and embrace the fresh air at the Stoplight Party 5K at Eisenhower Park. There's a free kids dash ahead of the main race.
