Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list this weekend!

It's MLK weekend, and that means three days of great family fun is on tap in Miami and South Florida. Celebrate the contribution of the holiday's namesake, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at parades and celebrations in Miami, Deerfield Beach, Pembroke Pines, and Tamarac. Visit Everglades National Park on a day of free admission or take part in the National Day of Service in the spirt of the legendary civil rights leader.

Elsewhere, enjoy a taste of sweet treats at the Festival of Chocolate in Coral Gables or the South Florida Strawberry Festival in Boca Raton. The South Florida Fair begins its 17-day run in West Palm Beach while Unicorn World brings the magic of the mythical creatures to Miami.
