Día de los Muertos on 3rd Street Promenade
Downtown Santa Monica celebrates Día de los Muertos with music, performances, and more along Third Street Promenade.
Family friendly activities include kids arts and crafts, face painting, and games for all ages.
The free event includes festive live entertainment, colorful community altars, a Latinx pop-up market curated by Molcajete Dominguero, and a new public art Installation by legendary artist, scenery director and stage-set designer, Ricado Soltero.
Local talent entertains with live performances. Scheduled local talent include Neiya Arts, Aztec Dancers of Santa Monica Folklorico Dance Company, Santa Monica Ballet Folklorico, Academia de Danza BFFM, Ballet Folklorico del Alma, recording artist Danny Munoz, and various Latinx student groups.
