Marine Mammal Care Center Family Science Sunday

Families can visit the Marine Mammal Care Center on the 3rd Sunday of every month for the hands-on Family Science Sunday program.
This one-hour session is led by MMCC experts, who dive into topics such as ocean conservation, marine mammals, and beyond.
Upcoming events:
February 16: Learn about the biology and anatomy of the squid. Participants will work in pairs to dissect a squid using dissection scissors and forceps.
The event is free and includes access to MMCC’s full visitor experience, including patient viewing and our interactive exhibit hall. Register to participate. Sessions at 1pm and 3pm
Program is for ages 8 and up, families are encouraged to participate in science activities together and adults must accompany children 13 and under.
