April is Earth Month, and Westchester and the Hudson Valley are home to some great Earth Day celebrations that you won't want to miss. At these celebrations, kids can learn about gardening, recycling, and even meet the Lorax, Dr. Seuss's original eco-advocate.

Some of our picks are geared toward kids, while others are full-day celebrations that the whole family can enjoy. These events feature activities like live music, seed planting, arts and crafts using recycled materials, and learning about how to conserve energy in your home.

For more Earth-friendly activities and information for kids, including how to start your own eco-kids club, check out our Earth Kids Activity Guide.
