2. City Cruises Brunch by the Bay — Embarcadero

If you're up for a splurge and want to do something different, hop aboard a two-hour bay cruise with a buffet brunch, bottomless mimosas, live music, and views of the Golden Gate. Kids under three eat free, and reservations are essential.

3. The Ritz Carlton — Nob Hill

This is a full-on luxury experience at $169 for adults, but you get a decadent buffet in a historic hotel with Bay views. They even offer discounted childcare if you want to sneak in a spa treatment. It’s a splurge, but if you’re going all out for Mom this year, this is the place. 

16. Iron and Oak — Oakland (inside Marriott Hotel)

A solid mid-range option at $65 per adult, this brunch includes carving stations, omelets, and a Bloody Mary bar, all in a sleek downtown setting. Kids under 12 eat for $30. Iron and Oak is upscale but not uptight and perfect if you want something special without going overboard.

20. Roaring Camp — Felton

21. Filoli Historic House and Garden — Woodside

For a quieter, slower-paced Mother’s Day, Filoli is magic with an after-hours picnic event. Kids can roam the gardens while you sip coffee in the sun, and their pop-up café has fresh pastries and picnic-friendly bites (more garden party than restaurant brunch). Tickets and parking reservations are a must.

22. Ritz-Carlton — Half Moon Bay

Navio’s brunch is a total splurge at $255 a head, but it’s oceanside, beautifully plated, and honestly feels like a vacation without the packing. If you're looking for something slower and calmer, The Conservatory does a fancy afternoon tea at $125 per person, with views and champagne add-ons. Kids are welcome, and we recommend booking early because this one goes fast.

23. Selby's — Atherton

Selby's offers a luxurious multi-course brunch at $135 per adult. They thoughtfully provide a children's menu for those 12 and under, featuring options like organic yogurt, baby green salad, and smoked salmon toast.
