Chelsea Piers Sport Camps offer programs for kids of all ages, from 20 months to teenagers. Chelsea Piers Sport Camps let kids be active and enjoy the sports they love out of the heat of the summer sun, taking advantage of an amazing sports facility and the wide range of activities available under on roof without leaving the city.OUR LATEST VIDEOS
There are half-day Preschool Gymnastics Camps and Preschool Ice Skating Camps where kids from 3 years old can begin to learn the basic skills of these sports, plus arts and crafts and other activities.
For kids aged 6-12 there's Sports Academy which is basically a survey of all the sports offered at Chelsea Piers--which is quite a lot. At Sports Academy Camp kids play basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and something called European Handball?!. In addition Sports Academy campers get to try out ice skating, rock climbing, bowling and gymnastics.
Urban Adventures Camp is a two-week camp for kids 13-17. Teenage campers learn about rock climbing, sailing and kayaking. They can also participate in the other Chelsea Piers standards like ice skating, baseball, soccer and volleyball as well as getting to ride the Chelsea Screamer.
Chelsea Piers also offers Golf Camps, Ice Hockey Camps, Ice Skating Camps, and Bowling Camps. And, for toddlers and their caregivers, Buddy and Me Camp is like a warm-up session for camp.
As of today, June 20, there are still spots free in all camp sessions. However, space is filling up quickly so it's best to register soon. Transportation may be available for some campers.
