Transit Equity Day commemorates the birthday of civil rights icon Rosa Parks. Metrolink celebrates by offering free rides system wide.
No tickets are required to ride the train, so everyone can travel without limits and explore Southern California while celebrating the legacy of equality and access for all.
In addition to free Metrolink rides, participating bus operators across the local service area also waive fares for the day.
LA Metro in Los Angeles County, Ventura County, San Bernardino County, and Riverside County are also fare-free on Transit Equity Day
Please note: Transit systems in other counties may require a fare.
