What better way to celebrate your baby than with a trip to the zoo? Both the Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo offer several birthday party packages for all ages, including babies, that cover a range of activities and costs.

Ages: 1 year and up
What’s included: The best option at the zoos for the littlest ones is the Do-It-Yourself Package, which includes the venue, tables and chairs, and can be customized to add animal encounters or themed tableware. If you’re looking for more, try the Super Safari or Safari packages, which includes things like ride tickets and zoo masks.
When: Year-round at Franklin Park, April 1-October 31 at Stone Zoo

Mama & Me
Mama & Me has a variety of birthday party options perfect for children ages 1-4 years, including one specifically for your baby’s first birthday. 

Ages: 1-4 years
What’s included: All Mama & Me parties include unlimited adults and children under one year, 15 minutes of setup and cleanup time each, two tables and chairs for the children, an adult serving table, a party attendant, cleanup and trash removal, CD player and iPod hookup. Baby’s 1st Party includes age-appropriate activities and 12 adult chairs.

Jam Time
This indoor playground with two locations in in Metro West offers a variety of birthday party options for little ones that can be customized to suit your needs.

Ages: 3 months-6 years
What’s included: All Jam Time parties include a party planner and assistant, personalized invitations, setup and cleanup of your playroom decorated with balloons and banners, paper products and utensils, a character visit and gift card for the birthday baby.
When: Saturdays and Sundays; weekdays can be requested
Party length: 90 minutes
Food: Some packages include food, others do not
Number of guests: 15 children included in shared parties, but you can have up to 20 for extra $ per child. 20 children included in private parties, but you can have up to 35.

Mamas Move 
Mamas Move, which offers classes, activities and workshops for moms and their children offers two party options for babies: Back to Basics Party and Deluxe Party and Play.

Ages: 1-5 years
What’s included: Both Mamas Move party options for babies include indoor play in the ExploraZone play center, a party facilitator, use of facility and cafe for refreshments, personalized invitations and a T-shirt for the birthday child.
When: Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays
