Come and experience the culturally rich, Indian celebration of spring, Holi! Be  charmed by fun hands-on activities where guests can create colorful, traditional Indian arts and crafts as well as watch a traditional Indian dance.

Gulal Color Fest: Dive into the joyous tradition of Holi by playfully throwing bright, colorful powders and celebrating the festival of colors in a fun, energetic way!

Limit 40 participants ages 3+ (ages 3-5 must have an adult enter with them). Parents must sign waiver for each child. Sign up near Playscape. Please note each sign up opens one hour prior to start time.

When: At 10:30 am, noon, 1:30 and 3 pm on Ewing St.

Hindus of Greater Houston: Join us with our friends from Hindus of Greater Houston with some activities to learn about Holi, intros before the show, and more!

When: From 9 am to 3 pm in New Kids' Hall

‍Chalk Art Car: Decorate an art car with colorful chalk designs, turning it into a one-of-a-kind canvas on wheels!

When: From 9 am to 4 pm on the Patio

Tie Dye Workshops: Design your own vibrant, one-of-a-kind bandana to celebrate the spirit of the festival!

Silambam Houston Dance Performance: Experience the vibrant rhythms and graceful movements of Indian classical dance as Silambam Houston showcases a captivating dance performance at the Museum! 

When: At 2 pm in Brown Auditorium
