Embark on a pint-sized adventure with your little ones at the Connecticut Science Center’s Toddler Tuesday. On select Tuesdays, the Science Center transforms into a magical playland tailored just for our youngest explorers, ages 6 and under. In a relaxed, crowd-controlled environment, toddlers can dive into a world of discovery at their own pace, free from the hustle and bustle of older kids.

Get ready for a day filled with Rainbows and Luck. Kids will embark on an exciting treasure hunt for hidden gold nuggets, explore glowing rocks and shimmering fish that sparkle like a rainbow, and discover the magic of light and shadow with playful four-leaf clover patterns. They’ll also get hands-on with creativity—building their own kaleidoscopes using magnet tile mirrors to craft dazzling visuals. Plus, sensory sorting activities will strengthen fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way. Every adventure is a burst of color, curiosity, and giggles—where little ones soak up the joy and luck of the rainbow!

• Gold Nugget Scavenger Hunt: Hunt down gold nuggets stashed all around. This adventure sparks problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a whole lot of treasure-hunting.
• Glow Rocks & Fish: With glowing rocks or shimmering fish, this adventure fuses the beauty of luminescence with pure wonder.
• Lights, Shadows, 4 Leaf Clovers: This activity reveals the magic of light and shadow as four-leaf clovers create intricate, unexpected patterns—nature’s own dazzling display.
• Kaleidoscopes: In this creative activity, participants build a kaleidoscope with magnet tile mirrors, exploring the mesmerizing dance of light and reflection to create unique visual wonders.
• Sensory Sorting: This hands-on activity engages the senses by sorting objects by texture, size, or weight, boosting fine motor skills, focus, and mindfulness through playful exploration.
