This class is appropriate for brand new skaters who can stand in their skates. No other experience is necessary. Beginners can expect to learn: posture, balance, shifting weight, stopping, and other basic skills.

Skaters must be 5 years old or older to participate. Skaters under 18 must attend with a chaperone. There is no additional cost for chaperones. Parents and guardians are encouraged to purchase a ticket and learn to skate with their kids. 

Please note: if you are renting skates, please select your skate size at checkout by editing your item and selecting the size(s) you will need. Our roller skates are all men's sizes. If you typically wear women's size shoes, please select one size down from your usual size.
