Teddy Bear Check-Up at Stone Zoo

Families are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear for a day of cuddly fun at Stone Zoo’s Teddy Bear Check-Up. Children can bring their plush pals through special veterinary check-up stations, ensuring their bears are in tip-top shape.
At various stations throughout the zoo, teddy bears will have their heartbeats, reflexes, and sight tested while children learn about real veterinary care. After visiting each station, the teddy bears will receive a certificate of good health.
In addition to the check-up, guests can enjoy bear-themed crafts and activities throughout the day. At 10:00 a.m., there will be a black bear keeper chat featuring Bubba and Smoky.
Additional fun includes:
-
Dressing up in a black bear mask
-
Learning more about black bears
-
Supporting wildlife with a Zoodoptable bear
-
Coloring a teddy bear
This event is included with general admission and takes place rain or shine.
