Little Seedlings at New England Botanic Garden
Tailored for young naturalists, Little Seedlings invites budding scientists and their caregivers to explore the wonders of nature just outside the window.
Featuring a variety of engaging activity stations, children can practice sorting, counting, and identifying colors, sounds, letters, and more through sensory activities. Each session includes storytime, songs, a guided nature walk, and many opportunities to explore and learn independently. Every month, a new seasonally-themed topic is introduced to deepen their connection to the natural world.
The program begins with 40 minutes indoors and a short walk through the garden. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. This class is designed for children with their adult companions.
