Make Music Winter Event: The Mobile Hallelujah
The always popular “Mobile Hallelujah” returns this season, in which the most dramatic four minutes of Handel’s famed oratorio Messiah are distilled into “pop-up” style performances that take place in seven iconic Manhattan locations, including Times Square and Lincoln Center.
You can chose to travel with the core ensemble of vocalists from location to location, all within walking distance of one another, or to meet the group at any of the spots at the appointed time. Either way, you’re sure to surprise the bystanders in your midst and to enjoy the revelry of your fellow choralists.
To sign up to participate, or to learn more about the program, email mmnymobilehallelujah@gmail.com with “Mobile Hallelujah” in the subject line. Singers of all skill levels and ages are welcome to participate, but if you have experience and already know your vocal range (SATB), please share this in your email.
