Back for its fourth year, this free, day-long cel­e­bra­tion of all things eco­log­i­cal fea­tures envi­ron­men­tal edu­ca­tion activ­i­ties for all ages, including eco­log­i­cal stew­ard­ship, walk­ing tours, an Island-wide scav­enger hunt, seed­ball work­shops, a tree stamp­ing art activ­i­ty, cli­mate tech demos, DJ sets, com­mu­ni­ty sci­ence exhibits, and more.

10am-3pm: EXPLORE pop-up nature exhib­it with Street Lab

10am-12:30pm: Lead­ing Cli­mate Action by Res­i­dents for Res­i­dents with The New York Cli­mate Exchange and Pub­lic Hous­ing Com­mu­ni­ty Fund (Build­ing 309)

11am: Cli­mate tech demon­stra­tions, tree sam­ple print­mak­ing with Gov­er­nors Island Nature, vol­un­teer projects with Earth Mat­ter and Bil­lion Oys­ter Project

12pm: Guid­ed tree tour with Gov­er­nors Island Nature

12 – 4pm: Open [Block] House with the Insti­tute for Pub­lic Archi­tec­ture (Nolan Park Build­ing 9)

12:30pm: Seed sow­ing vol­un­teer stew­ard­ship with Gov­er­nors Island Nature

1:45pm: Guid­ed bird and tree tour with Gov­er­nors Island Nature and NYC Bird Alliance
