Celebrate the Year of the Sanke with folk dances and traditional arts and crafts when the New York Chinese Cultural Center (NYCCC) brings its signature program to the Queens Museum. 

1-2pm: Performance Program by New York Chinese Cultural Center
Featuring Chinese folk and classical dances, Chinese drums, Peking opera, ribbon dance demonstration, as well as yoyo, lion and dragon dance performed by artists and students from NYCCC.

2-2:45pm: Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Brush Painting Workshop by New York Chinese Cultural Center 

3-3:45pm: Ink Brush Painting Workshop by New York Chinese Cultural Center.

2-4pm: Snake Celebrations: An Intergenerational Lunar New Year Workshop
Designed for participants of all ages, this hands-on activity invites families to explore the cultural significance of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Guided by skilled Teaching Assistants from Queens Museum, attendees create vibrant snake-themed crafts symbolizing prosperity and transformation.
