Admission to NJ’s Water Main Water Park Included with Diggerland USA Tickets
The Water Main water park at Diggerland USA is officially open for the summer season. Both the construction-themed aquatic park and theme park, with 40 rides and attractions, are open 7 days a week from now through early September.
Since first opening in 2021, the Water Main aquatic park has made Diggerland USA a particularly epic warm-weather destination. Included with the cost of regular theme park admission, the expansive water park features a massive wave pool, awesome water slides, multiple splash pads, a lazy river, and more–talk about two for the price of one! Plus, it’s the perfect place to cool down after hours of operating tractors and diggers. Before you head over to Diggerland USA in West Berlin, New Jersey, read on for our review of the Water Main, plus a rundown of the park’s newest rides, and activities for the littlest visitors.

The Water Main Water Park Rides and Attractions
Already fans of the Diggerland theme park, my family-of-five absolutely loved The Water Main when we visited for the first time over opening weekend! Here are a few of our favorite attractions, including a couple of brand new additions to the water park:
- NEW! Claw Hammer Cove: In this massive new wave pool, visitors can enjoy gentle waves by the zero-depth entrance, or go deep–like our eight-year-old eagerly did–for wild waves up to 4-feet-high.
- NEW! Carpool Lane: In this new adventure, kids jump from one inflatable car to the next, making their way across the 24-foot-long pool.
- Digger River and Vortex: This small lazy river was a big hit with our five-year-old. The gentle current pulls you along while spray features cool you down.
- Jackhammer Bay: My two-year-old couldn’t get enough of this construction-themed splash pad. Mini slides, spray jackhammers, and geysers make it extra fun.
- The Pipeline: My husband and I were partial to the side-by-side water slides, which made it easy to race each other to the bottom!

NEW Attractions at the Diggerland Theme Park
There are two brand new experiences at the Diggerland theme park this season. At Hook and Ladder, kids can climb aboard and explore a number of different emergency vehicles, like firetrucks and ambulances. The other new addition is the Lumberjack Claw, in which kids take control of a log loader and use the joystick to attempt to pick up pieces of lumber.

Diggerland Rides for Children Under 36”
While a number of Diggerland’s attractions require kids to be at least 36” tall, the park makes sure there are activities for the younger crowd. Not only is admission free for kids under 36,” but we were pleasantly surprised by how much our two-year-old could do. She loved the thrill of Crazy Cranes, where she tried to pick up weighted blocks with a real crane while safely seated in my husband’s lap. And she enjoyed digging in the sand with an excavator at the Big Diggers experience. Smaller children are also allowed on the Elevation Station, a deck that holds five passengers and is elevated to nearly 60 feet in the air and The Excavator, a family-friendly ride pulled by a tractor around the theme park.
