New Jersey is home to many indoor ninja-style obstacle courses and aerial arts gyms where little acrobats and ninjas can hone the skills they've seen on TV. That's perfect for kids who are obsessed with American Ninja Warrior and want the thrill of climbing warped walls, or junior acrobats hoping to twirl in the air like circus performers in The Greatest Showman!

Obstacle Courses and Ninja Warrior Gyms in NJ
1. Center Court – Multiple Locations
Join the Ninja League here and test your strength and agility in weekly competitions. Young ninjas can start practicing at age 5, working up through increasingly challenging obstacles. Outdoor obstacles are also offered during warm weather and summer camps.
2. Cavu Gym Ninja Zone – Mountain Lakes
These classes use elements from gymnastics, parkour, and martial arts to teach kids how to overcome obstacles. Classes are offered for kids ages 6-14.
3. The Grit Ninja – Paramus
Ninja Grit offers classes for all levels, including basic rec classes (ages 3-8), fundamentals (ages 5-12), and the developmental, advanced, and elite teams.
4. Gymnastics Unlimited – Flemington
Combining traditional gymnastics with warrior-style obstacles and circus arts training, this expansive Central Jersey center can be a one-stop shop for your active kids. Classes in the Ninja Zone feature parkour, martial arts, gymnastics, and obstacle course training. The annual Ninja Games competition lets kids show off their kicks, rolls, and flips. Special Lil' Ninja classes are offered for kids ages 3-5.
5. High Exposure – Northvale
Little kids who love to climb, jump, swing, and leap will enjoy the Little Ninjas classes for ages 4-7. There are also Ninja Obstacles classes and Competitive classes for older kids.
6. IMC Kids – Gym Upper Montclair
This spot is perfect for helping kids ages 3-6 learn how to jump, climb, slide, and zipline on equipment that's perfect for their age group. Once kids age out of the program, they can try nearby IMC Fit, which offers fitness and obstacle course training for kids ages 7-13.
7. Jersey Ninja Warrior – Lafayette
Ninja classes at this gym are 50 minutes long and build balance, agility, speed, strength, flexibility, and more. Students can also take advantage of half-price open gym time to practice their skills. Have a little one 5 or under? You can get in on the action with adult-child classes, too.
8. Movement Laboratory – Hainesport
MLAB has classes for ages 6 through teens where kids hone their skills with experienced instructions. Drop-ins are welcome for classes or book a spot online.

9. Nex Level Arena – Flemington
This indoor sports training complex is also a go-to venue for obstacle courses, kids' classes, and birthday parties. In addition to its indoor turf fields and sports conditioning classes for kids ages 10 and up, new features include American Ninja Warrior-inspired quintuple steps, a cannonball alley, an unstable bridge, parkour boxes and ropes, and a warped wall. Drop-in classes and a kids' ninja team are also offered.
10. Ninja Fitness Zone – Moorestown
This facility has equipment for all levels, whether your child is new to ninja courses or has had training. Ninja Fitness Zone has open gym hours as well as training in scheduled classes for ages 3 through adult.
11. Pinnacle Parkour – Turmersville
Whether your child is a toddler or a teen, you'll find classes that burn off energy and improve strength, coordination, and agility. Class options include parkour, ninja, open gym, and family jump.
12. Ninja Kidz at Kidzone Shore Tumbling – Manahawkin
This ninja training program offers three skill levels to challenge children ages 5 to 12 years. Children will be grouped by age in classes.
13. Ninja Zone at Head Over Heels Gymnastics – Parlin, Middletown, East Brunswick, Shrewsbury
Ninja Zone classes involve a ninja rig, warped walls, trampolines, and more. Age groups for classes start as young as 18 months and go through 14 years.
