Union Station becomes a holiday hub with its annual tree lighting ceremony.

The event is held in the station’s historic Ticket Concourse  - the first time this section of the station has been open to the public during the holiday season. There the station lights a towering 30 foot tree with thousands of glistening lights, with help from some special guests from the North Pole.

The North Patio transforms into the North Pole, where families can enjoy arts and crafts, milk and cookies, holiday characters and more. Santa Claus and the Elves are available for photos in the station’s Waiting Room. 

The evening also features live musical performances from Kingston Ska Collective with members of Western Standard Ska Orchestra and Los Rebeldes Romanticos.
