Santa Monica Public Library's Storypalooza champions literacy and celebrates the imaginative world of children’s literature.

Attendees receive a free book while supplies last.

Space is limited; first come, first served, and all events are free. 

Events at the Main Library include a reading of the picture book Not-a-Box City​ with author Antoinette Portis. In addition, kids can create a cardboard rocket ship craft and help create the Library's box city.

In addition, the Pico and Montana Branches offer a take-and-make cardboard rocket ship kit and book giveaway, available from 10am to 5pm, while supplies last.
