Cultural institutions from Hollywood to Expo Park host an exciting variety of events including outdoor activities, workshops, performances, and community gatherings as part of Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide.

Guests can discover pigeons with backpacks monitoring air pollution, a 12-hour experimental music festival, and other unique programs from renowned institutions such as the Griffith Observatory, LACMA, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, USC and more.

Some highlights include:

• A pop up mirror making workshop at LACMA - Saturday, 11am - 5pm
• Pacific Standard Universe, a 35-minute, animated film at the Griffith Observatory - Ongoing, multiple showtimes
• An interspecies collaboration! PigeonBlog relaunches, sending pigeons aloft with mini air pollution sensors, at LACE on Saturday, 11am - 1pm
• The opening day celebration of NHM Commons at the Natural History Museum, Sunday,  9:30am - 5pm
• Eco-Inventors at Craft Contemporary finds the looks at building design and sustainability, and inspires participants to do some designing of their own, Sunday, 11am - 12 noon.
