All weekend long Atlantans have the opportunity to celebrate Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. Families can view the parade, which starts at noon on Saturday, from The King Center on Auburn Ave NE to Piedmont Park.
In addition to speakers, musical performances and food trucks, the festival includes a 3-acre children's activity area complete with bouncy houses, soccer, basketall, kites and hula hoops.
