Audio Art Walks in Lower Manhattan
Moleskine blog informs us that the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council has created three free audio art walks. Even easier than going to a kid-friendly grown-up art exhibit??”just put 'em in the stroller, grab your iPod and go get arty.
Street Art Walks
Another great tip from Moleskine blog: A recent article in the NY Times Travel section that gives guidelines for going on a street art walking tour. They recommend the website streetsy.com which has google maps and information to learn about individual artists and where to find their work. A fun way to explore other neighborhoods with your kids. I think toddlers and little kids will love searching for the artworks and i'll bet they'll be great at finding them all over the city once you get started. Could really change the way you walk around.
