New Victory Theater - Midtown West

The New Victory Theater stands out for its high quality shows that adults enjoy just as much as their kids. The New Vic brings great talents from around the world and shows tend to be high-energy, visually stimulating and sophisticated. There are shows for kids as young as 2 years and shows just for teens and tweens, as well as every age in between. There are lots of options to choose from, ranging from puppetry to comedy, but I particularly love the acrobatic circus shows.

To become a member, purchase tickets to 3 or more shows at the same time and receive up to 35% off tickets for the season. Afraid to commit to dates ahead of time? Members can exchange purchased tickets for a different performance at no additional cost.

Puppetworks - Park Slope

Puppetworks is a marionette theater company in Brooklyn beloved by children and adults alike. While Puppetworks doesn't have a particular subscriptions deal, prices are affordable with tickets running $9 for adults and $8 for children. See classic tales like Hansel & Gretel, The Ugly Duckling and Pinocchio, plus a holiday-themed show featuring Nutcracker Sweets. Reservations are suggested.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts - Flatbush

There's something for everyone here: choose from an eclectic mix of family shows including The Velveteen Rabbit, The Colonial Nutcracker, How I Became A Pirate and Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music. While this theater doesn't offer a subscription option, most single tickets are only $7 as part of the Target FamilyFun Series.
