Start the month at CMOM with a big puppet parade! Grab puppet animal characters and hit the dance floor to a repertoire of goofy songs.

Tiny Puppets
Make a tiny finger puppet using recycled tin boxes, fabric, and decorate it with tiny velvet curtains and stickers.

April Peek-a-Boo Bunny Pop-Up Puppets
Design paper bag bunnies, and pop them out of a magician’s hat. Use paper cups and craft sticks to make silly characters that can “hide” and “pop up” again for a playful peek-a-boo experience.

New Victory Workshop: Creative Circus
Popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and puppetry, oh my! The New Victory Theater is bringing the big top to everyone, and you can get in on the act yourself. Guided by a New Victory Teaching Artist, you’ll learn arts-based skills as a family in a small-group setting. Get creative, forge family memories and make new friends!

The Naughty Penguin Performance & Workshop
Domino the penguin gets in trouble…a lot. Sometimes Domino chooses to be naughty, but sometimes it happens without her realizing. There are so many rules! Domino wants to know how she can still have fun without getting into so much bother. Will you help? This interactive performance invites kids to join Domino as she navigates a tricky world filled with opportunities to be naughty…or not.

Go bananas as you transform bright colored socks into playful monkey puppets, Decorate them with felt clothes, buttons, and yarn to bring your funny friend to life.

Happy Hat Puppets
