The Queens County Farm Museum hosts an all-new Corn Fest to celebrate the grand opening of the 2024 Amazing Maize Maze. The event is jam-packed with a-maize-ing activities, games, and food.
The fun includes:
- Games and activities, including Cornhole, Corn Husking, Sack Races and a Corny Scavenger Hunt
- DJ Malik Work spinnin’ tunes for a corn-tastic dance party
- Ear-resistible local food and drink vendors serving up corn-themed favorites
- Craft Vendors with unique artisanal offerings
- Colonial cornbread tastings and recipes during Adriance Farmhouse Tours
- Corn Talk Table where guests can learn fascinating facts about corn, explore the history of Native American gem corn and make beautiful corn mosaics
- Corn Husk Wreath Making, where visitors can craft beautiful corn husk wreaths in the Education Building
- Delicious corn-based recipe demos and tastings at the Farmstand, such as Corn Salsa, Corn Relish, and Corn Chowder
