Take a close look at some of the best-dressed sitters in the Museum, including Queen Mariana of Austria by Diego Velázquez and other portraits by artists like Francisco de Goya and Jan van Bijlert. Get inspired by the intricate patterns and textures you see, then make paper dolls and other crafts that incorporate motifs from these elaborate costumes. 

Norton Simon Family Days are designed for families with children ages 4 - 12.

This program is free with Museum admission (admission is free for children 18 and younger; adults pay admission at check-in). Advance reservation is encouraged.
