Frosty temps are no match for downtown Riverhead’s annual holiday parade and riverfront bonfire. Join the fun along the scenic Peconic Riverfront and watch for Santa to arrive by boat. 

Watch the Riverhead Lions Club  Annual Holiday Parade begin on Main Street and loop south to the Peconic Riverfront, where Downtown Riverhead’s bonfire awaits.

Santa awaits in the town’s Gingerbread House. Stop by to hand him your wish list and snap a photo with the jolly fella.

2024 Schedule:

• 1pm - Line up for Lions Club Parade (Vehicles, walkers and pets welcome! (prize for pet with the best holiday spirit)
• 2:30pm - Santa arrives by boat ~ Photos with Santa ~ Free hot cocoa
• 2:45pm - Bonfire
• 3pm - Musical program begins. Emceed by Mark McLaughlin with performances by Riverhead High School; School of Rock; East End Arts & the East End Disability singers
• 5pm - Official Welcome from Town Dignitaries
• 5:15pm - Tree Lighting
