The oldest and largest all-ages film festival in the United States is back! This iconic family event features diverse new films for all ages and IRL appearances by beloved book author Aaron Reynolds, who will read Creepy Crayon! Screenings include films like The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, Panda Bear in Africa, and more.

This is a free event, but head's up that tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting one hour before each showtime on the day of the show.

This year’s featured programs will include:

Children's book author Aaron Reynolds in person with a screening of Creepy Carrots!, followed by a reading from his hilarious book Creepy Crayon! and book signing. Free books to be distributed to all families attending the program (while supplies last).

Screenings of new animated feature films include:

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, a brand new buddy comedy starring one of the greatest comedic duos in history -- Porky Pig and Daffy Duck -- featuring the voices of acclaimed actors Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Wayne Knight, and Laraine Newman

Buffalo Kids, a hilarious yet heartwarming film filled with devious villains, unexpected heroes, and unimaginable adventures boasting an impressive voice cast including Alisha Weir, Conor MacNeill, Gemma Arterton, Stephen Graham, and Sean Bean.

Panda Bear in Africa, an exciting, adventurous, fish-out-of-water comedy co-written by Richard Claus & Karsten Kiilerich (The Little Vampire 3D) and Rob Sprackling (Sherlock Gnomes, The Queen's Corgi).

Living Large, a charming coming-of-age stop-motion film that follows a witty, overweight 12-year-old boy featuring 2D hand-drawn animation elements and catchy short musical sequences.

A Tooth Fairy Tale, a magical tale with a star-studded voice cast that includes Fran Drescher, Jon Lovitz, Boo Boo Stewart, Vivica A. Fox, and Larkin Bell; and Brambletown a musical film featuring songs from popular children's musicians The Okee Dokee Brothers that explores connections with each other and nature.

Screenings of new live-action feature films including Max and the Senior Squad, a delightfully entertaining film about teamwork and intergenerational friendships, and Rodrigo Zanforlin's fantastical, enchanting film Galactic Cat and the Spell of Time starring YouTube star Gato Galactico.

Screenings of twenty-six animated and live-action short films from around the world (including two Texas-made films).

And, be sure to join KidFilm on January 19th at the Angelika Dallas to receive 50% off your popcorn order in celebration of National Popcorn Day!
