Materials:
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup water
food coloring
sandwich baggy
1. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a medium sized bowl. Add water until your mixture is about the consistency of thick paste. If it's too wet, add more flour or your paint will run. Use food coloring to color your paint as desired. If you want to make more than one color, separate the paint mix into different bowls before dying it.
2. Pour your paint into the resealable bag and seal it, pressing out all air. Using a pair of scissors, snip a small corner off the bag. (Once you've cut the corner, the paint won't keep very well. If you want to store it, put it in a small jar or plastic container and put it into bags as needed.)
3. To use the paint, squeeze the bag onto a piece of cardboard or very thick paper. Once the designs are complete, just pop them in the microwave for about 20 seconds. The paint should harden into cool, puffy lines immediately. If they don't, just reheat them. Have fun!
