4th Annual Holiday Cheer Challenge
Experience an unforgettable winter adventure at The Honeycomb Project’s 4th Annual Holiday Cheer Challenge on Sunday, December 8, 2024. The event kicks off at 2 p.m. at the InterContinental Magnificent Mile Hotel in Chicago, and then small groups will descend upon the city for a fun-filled scavenger hunt to spread kindness. Participants of all ages will race around downtown performing simple holiday-themed tasks that make others smile, such as caroling at the River Walk, giving bouquets of flowers to tourists and delivering thank you notes to city workers. The event wraps up with an awards ceremony and celebration.
The Cheer Challenge enables families to get outside, connect with the places they love and create memories together! Funds raised will fuel Honeycomb’s year-round programs.
Since 2011, The Honeycomb Project has served as Chicago’s go-to organization for family volunteering. Honeycomb’s family-centered programs tackle global issues, such as food insecurity, housing, social justice and climate change, on a local level. Kids work and learn alongside their parents, preparing home-cooked meals at shelters, growing fresh vegetables at city farms, building nature trails along the Chicago River and more. Last year alone, Honeycomb mobilized more than 4,000 youth and parents in 200+ high-impact projects that provided crucial resources and support to a network of partner organizations.
